Purpose

The FES Regional Office for International Cooperation has the following purpose:

  • To promote international cooperation and social development in a democratic spirit. 
  • Deepen the idea of international understanding and partnership with European countries.
  • Coordinate peace and security interests between the EU and the countries of Eastern Europe.
  • Democracy, the rule of law and human rights as well as art and culture in the aforementioned context to promote. 
  • International understanding, a democratic state and civil society commitment to peace based on science and research are in the foreground.

Basic orientation of this website

This website provides information about the activities of the FES Regional Office for International Cooperation as well as information and discussion about political, economic, legal and ideological issues. Its purpose is to make a contribution to free and critical political discourse.
